Microsoft is improving the hyperlink, date and time and image field editors in SharePoint lists and libraries. Additionally, column creation is being updated to allow creation of all column types from within Quick Edit.
The roll-out of this change is expected to be complete by end of September 2020.

The legacy hyperlink editor will be replaced with a modern experience.
Date and time picker
For Gregorian calendars, the legacy calendar control is being replaced with the latest Office Fabric calendar.
Images
A new image column type is being introduced to lists and libraries enabling users to add a single image from their computer or device to an item in a list or library.
Users on mobile devices will be able to upload an image from their device simply by taking a photo with their camera.
Column creation in Quick Edit
Legacy column creation is being replaced with a modern experience. User will be able to create all column types directly from within Quick Edit.
